On the day of the procedure:

• discuss the course of treatment to date with the specialist,
• inform the staff about all medicines and supplements you are taking,
• make sure your skin is clean and dry – do not use creams, lotions or ointments.

STAGE I: Preparation for the procedure (lying down or reclining position).

STAGE II: Application of the vaginal probe.

STAGE III: Use of the probe on the external structures of the intimate areas.

STAGE IV: Completion of the procedure and provision of recommendations.

After the procedure, you can return to your daily activities. If you experience any worrying symptoms, please contact the medical reception immediately.

Contraindications for radiofrequency treatment include:

• use of isotretinoin within the last 12 months;
• autoimmune diseases affecting the skin;
• radiotherapy and chemotherapy;
• problems with wound healing and unhealed wounds in the treated area;
• presence of metal implants near the treatment area or grounding electrodes;
• permanent implants near the treated area;
• pacemaker, internal defibrillator or other active electrical implant in the body;
• current or past skin cancer, as well as any other type of cancer or precancerous lesions;
• history of malignant cancer;
• cardiovascular diseases, including blood vessels, peripheral arteries, thrombophlebitis and thrombosis;
• active problems in the treated area, such as ulcers, psoriasis, eczema, rash, rosacea;
• any surgery in the treated area within the last three months or before complete healing;
• poorly controlled endocrine disorders, e.g. diabetes;
• tuberculosis;
• jaundice;
• chills caused by illness.
