NAMI Method – a unique,
holistic approach to health

At NAMI, we believe that health is much more than the absence of illness. Our philosophy is founded on two essential pillars: conventional (classical) medicine and natural medicine, which together form a cohesive, holistic healthcare system. We combine the latest scientific and technological advances with time-tested natural methods to support the body at every stage of its regeneration and return to well-being. This approach not only enables effective diagnosis and treatment, but also prevents health problems, fostering lasting physical, mental, and emotional balance. NAMI is an INVICTA Group medical centre where we help patients take care of their fertility, improve the quality of their reproductive cells and promote longevity. All stays at NAMI are medical stays.

At the NAMI Medical Resort and Clinic, we promote a modern approach to care based on the “patient-partner” model, in which the patient is an active participant in the treatment process — not just a passive recipient.

This model assumes that each patient has a meaningful influence on the direction of their therapy and treatment standards. By consciously and lawfully sharing their perspective and treatment outcomes, patients contribute to the development of modern medical standards.

The interdisciplinary NAMI team consists of specialists from a wide range of fields (including internists, cardiologists, gynecologists, urologists, andrologists, and endocrinologists), laboratory diagnosticians, physiotherapists (including urogynecologists), dietitians, naturopathy experts, integrative medicine practitioners, acupuncture specialists, yoga instructors, music therapists, and relaxation technique professionals. This versatile team allows us to offer each guest comprehensive, expert care tailored to their individual needs.

NAMI is part of the European Family Center INVICTA in Sopot, which complements the offerings of the INVICTA Group, a leader in fertility treatment. Founded in 2000, INVICTA has been redefining medical standards in fertility diagnostics and treatment, as well as in prevention. Initially a single clinic and laboratory in Gdańsk, it has grown into a network of clinics and full-service medical diagnostic laboratories across the country. Today, INVICTA Group is not only made up of clinics and laboratories, but also includes a research and development center and a medical software production department, offering proprietary solutions that incorporate artificial intelligence and personalized medical therapies.

Since 2000, the INVICTA Group has successfully diagnosed and treated fertility disorders in both women and men, continually investing in its development while expanding its comprehensive healthcare offerings to a wider range of patients at different stages of life. INVICTA’s genetic laboratories are internationally recognized, ranking among the top 10 centers in the world in the EMQN rankings. In its pursuit of effective treatments and personalized solutions, the scientific team at INVICTA developed the proprietary AIOO® software, which supports doctors in planning in vitro treatments and tailoring therapies to the individual needs and predispositions of patients undergoing the procedure. In 2024, the NAMI Medical Resort & Clinic center was established as a natural extension of the INVICTA Group’s offerings.

NAMI and the INVICTA
Research & Development Center

At the NAMI Medical Clinic and Resort, a Research Agenda is actively pursued through projects funded by the European Union. These initiatives, led by the INVICTA Research & Development Center, include:

  • The development of innovative methods for treatment and body regeneration;
  • Testing and implementation of advanced therapies in real-world clinical settings;
  • Collection and analysis of clinical, functional, and behavioral data;
  • Research into personalized treatment approaches, particularly in the area of lifestyle diseases, with a special focus on infertility.

The center has received approvals from the Bioethics Committee for selected R&D projects. Each patient is qualified into a medical program with the option to participate in these research initiatives.

Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is an approach that we at INVICTA Clinics and NAMI strongly believe in. We base our practices on facts – the results of clinical trials and their analysis.

We collect and analyse medical data to accurately assess each patient’s clinical situation, make a diagnosis, evaluate available treatment options and, most importantly, apply this knowledge to each individual. By taking a broad perspective, we aim to offer patients the most personalised treatment pathways possible.

NAMI provides access to the expertise and experience of the entire team at the European Family Center INVICTA – one of the most advanced medical complexes in Europe, occupying over 11,000 m². The ECR includes:

  • INVICTA Medical Diagnostic Laboratories
  • INVICTA Research and Development Center
  • The residential section of the NAMI wellness center, with 44 comfortable, high-standard rooms
  • The medical section of the NAMI wellness center, overseen by specialists from various fields, and equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment.

We utilize the latest-generation medical devices for diagnostics and regenerative therapies. We leverage technological advances to support our guests’ therapeutic processes in prevention, physiotherapy, and biological renewal. Our therapies include radiofrequency technology, shockwave therapy, electrostimulation, heat and cold therapy, ultrasound, and biofeedback. NAMI also houses one of the largest hyperbaric chambers in Poland, which accelerates cellular regeneration, promotes wound healing, and supports recovery.

Nutrition
that heals and strengthens

At NAMI, nutrition is regarded as a foundational aspect of health. Every dish, crafted with meticulously chosen ingredients, serves a specific purpose—not only to provide energy but to function as a therapeutic tool supporting the microbiome, immunity, fertility, and longevity. Collaboration between the chef and the dietitian ensures a menu that transcends a one-size-fits-all approach, delivering diverse ingredients designed to bolster health and prevent illness. We firmly believe that conscious nutritional choices represent the future of medicine.

Architecture and design

The INVICTA European Family Center is a facility deeply inspired by nature. The building’s architecture mirrors the dynamic motion of ocean waves, with its façade featuring smooth undulations that evoke the crests of waves, creating a sense of fluidity. Inside, the design blends modern aesthetics with natural materials like wood and stone, fostering warmth and harmony. Unique details, such as wicker lampshades in NAMI rooms and birdhouse-shaped lamps resembling a pregnant woman, are imbued with profound symbolism, celebrating life in various forms.

Surrounding the building is a coastal garden reflecting local flora and NAMI’s commitment to ecological values. This serene space offers opportunities for relaxation and renewal. State-of-the-art technologies enhance both comfort and energy efficiency, aligning seamlessly with sustainable development principles. NAMI has earned prestigious architectural awards, a testament to its exceptional design and purpose.

Respect for nature

We make conscious use of natural resources, harnessing the potential of our location to meet the real needs associated with the function of our facility.

Drinking water

At NAMI we avoid plastic bottles. We encourage our guests to use special dispensers that provide water from the municipal supply. Sopot’s tap water comes from deep wells in forest areas and along the coast – we take advantage of its excellent quality.

Rainwater

Managing rainwater and protecting our complex from flooding is a major concern. The difference in altitude in Lower Sopot is up to 140 metres, and 12 streams flow through this part of the city directly into the sea, with mountainous or sub-mountainous characteristics. A real threat in this area is the so-called backflow – the influx of seawater into the city’s sewage system.

In response to these local conditions, we’ve installed a rainwater retention system on our premises with a total capacity of 530,000 litres, along with a buffer tank adjacent to the building. We use the collected rainwater for toilet flushing and watering the vegetation in our Seaside Garden.

Thermal management

The facades of the buildings in the European Family Centre INVICTA complex are constructed with two layers. A white sun-reflecting screen protects the exterior walls from overheating.

Equipped with shutters that can cover the windows, this construction provides a continuous protective barrier. This barrier not only protects the building’s interior from overheating, but also benefits the surrounding environment by preventing the formation of urban heat islands.

By avoiding large expanses of glass, using windows that optimise natural light, and using protective shutters, we effectively shield our interiors from excessive temperatures.

Location

Nestled in the peaceful lower part of Sopot, NAMI is just 400 meters from the beach, offering direct access to tranquil seaside gardens and the calming rhythm of the waves. This idyllic location promotes relaxation and rejuvenation, with clean air and a unique microclimate fostering a natural connection to well-being. Sopot, steeped in spa traditions dating back to the Napoleonic era, exudes a distinct energy that attracts those seeking harmony from across the globe.

Sopot’s residents enjoy the longest life expectancy in Poland, making it a true Polish “blue zone”—a region of remarkable longevity. The city perfectly combines peace with proximity to its charming attractions, including the iconic “Monciak” promenade and Europe’s longest wooden pier. Removed from the commotion of urban centers, Sopot offers space for reflection and inspiration while serving as a convenient base for exploring the diverse entertainment and activities in neighboring Gdańsk and Gdynia.

Guests of the NAMI health resort can enjoy an onsite graduation tower with locally sourced brine. The Sopot brine is a unique therapeutic water distinguished by its high mineral content, including sodium, magnesium, calcium, and iodine. It originates from the St. Adalbert Spring, from which it naturally flows from a depth of 800 meters. Initially used primarily by individuals with skin, respiratory, and rheumatic conditions, Sopot brine has now become a symbol of health and relaxation. It has antibacterial properties, supports circulation, and aids in detoxifying the body. Thanks to its rich mineral composition, it also has a beneficial effect on the skeletal, muscular, and thyroid systems.
